Wedding, Work and Realty TV ha

Hola Chicas!
So today I had a really good TV update post planned ...
there is SO much going on I have THREE of our TV's being held hostage by DVR because of all of these shows on right now ....

Pretty Little Liars
(Holy Toby! What is happening?)
 Kourtney & Kim take Miami
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills AND Atlanta
(Kenya is cray-cray can we all agree on that?)
Private Practice
Honey Boo Boo
(don't judge, it's comedy at it's finest!)
The Good Wife
Grey's Anatomy
Nashville
and ...
Duck Dynasty
(yes, I let Chris watch this one show on "my" dvr TV haha I am a good fiance!)

There are sooo many more I am just drawing a blank ...

Anyway, I wanted to do a TV catch up post but honestly there have been too many more important things going on in this crazy life of mine, so I thought I would share those instead ;)

In no particular order ...

We finalized Bridesmaids Dresses!!
Whitney, Kim, Chrissy & Emily
(Missing Kelly!:( She couldn't go. And Ella and Ava too!)

We had a girl's day and went back up to Bridal and Formal in Cincinnati, OH to finalize and purchase the dresses and I am SO excited because everyone is going to look perfect and so pretty! Each of my friends are wearing the same brand dress (Waters) but in different styles and  3 different colors ... kind of a blush/light pink, a champagne and a stone color which is like grey kind of.
They are all gorgeous!!!! Can't wait to show everyone!

I also tried on my dress again and they had a smaller sample size this time so it fit a little better and I LOVED it so much more than I even did the first time when I bought it!!! Ahhhhh!!! It's so pretty!!!!!!

I am loving this makeup ... on one of my fave PLL ladies ...

How do you feel about that for my wedding makeup?
I love it! Looks so natural but stunning!

Do you know about custom stamps? Or have I been under a rock?
I came across an advertisement in a Shutterfly magazine I got in the mail about ordering custom photo stamps from Stamps.com and I thought to myself "hmmm.... now that's amazing!"

So of course I got online instantly and ordered some for our Save the Date's that are going out this week ... and we finally got them in the mail and they are EVEN MORE AMAZING in person!!!

Are you dying?
How cute are those?
Ahhh I just love them! They are my new favorite thing!
They are BIG too! Like over twice the size of a regular ugly stamp ha. Love them!!
It was super easy too, you basically just upload a picture and Ta-da!
View the wesbite and order some HERE

Lastly on the wedding front, I ordered Frankie's tux ...

Brace yourself ....

Precious!
He will be so handsome I can not even stand it!!
So excited!

Speaking of Frankie,
and my never ending, ever growing, sometimes crazy, love for him ....
Look what I saw today and couldn't help but LOL ....

Bahahahahaha
So true! I love it.
I literally laugh out loud every time I read it ha!

In Real Estate News ....
Yours truly has been quite the little Realtor lately ;)

Lexington Herald Leader's "Realtor of the Week" in last Sunday's paper!
So awesome, loved it, and so did everyone else! My Fbook and phone were blowing up with messages! :)

Then ....

Double spot ad in Skirt! Magazine
in the Fabulous Faces of Real Estate in Lexington, KY article!

I can't wait for this year! My business is growing more and more every day!
I just know we are going to kill it this year!
If you're in or around Lexington please remember me when you know someone looking to buy or sell!
And if you're not in Lexington, that's ok too ... I can refer you to a great Realtor in your area!
I have Realtor friends in a lot of other states that would love to help :)
Buying or Selling a home is a BIG deal ... don't go at it alone, work with a professional!
After all, I always tell people, if you were having trouble with a tooth you would go to the dentist and let the professional work on it, not try to work on it yourself ha!
So the same should be true with your home, which is the single biggest purchase in your life!

Pinterest Snack ...

If you haven't seen these on Pinterest or tried them yet then you need to.
I made them for a lunch at my office and literally they are delish!
And soooo easy! Takes like 15 min total. So yummy.
Perfect for Valentine's Day school treats too!

Lastly,
a Birthday Shout Out!

Happy Birthday Leslie!!
Leslie is my brother's girlfriend, and also my assistant :) And she just had a birthday over the weekend so I wanted to give her another little bday wish just because I love her ha :) Glad you had a good birthday! XO!

Well I think that's it for now ...
I have listed 3 new houses this past week so going to post some cute house pics soon.
And of course more wedding updates as they come ... I am trying to keep some things a surprise but it's so dang hard! I am already dying to show Chris my dress... but don't worry, I'm not! He will have to wait ha!

Party Time!

I must say ...
Of all the parties I have thrown and hosted (which is a LOT lately ha!) ...
this goes down as one of my very favorites!

Ella and Ava didn't have a blow out birthday party this year :(
I got mixed up and thought they were having one at their mom's house ... then we got so so busy with work and then before I knew it, it was Halloween, then November, and well, sadly, it just didn't happen.
So I told them we would think about having a Christmas Party for their friends, and of course they didn't forget me saying that haha ... are you kidding?
They have the most amazing memories conveniently on these things ;)

I started with ordering these adorable invitations ...

Precious!
These were purchased from Michelle at The Party Chick's Etsy Store and she was so great to work with.
She changed the format to add another little elf, put glasses on Ella, and names on the hats! Love it!
She emailed me the pdf super fast and then I printed at Kinkos myself which was cheaper.

We decided we would have snacks, Minute to Win It Games, a Reindeer Food Bar, and do a Cookie Swap!

I had some Grinch Punch in little ornaments for them to sip on ...
Then made some AMAZING hot chocolate in the crock pot from this recipe below ...

We did a fun cookie exchange!
I got little $1.50 Christmas tins from Walmart for everyone to put their sweet treats in ... then we spread them all out around the table, walked around and collected one off of each tray, until they were allll gone!!

They LOVED the cookie exchange!
Everyone left with a tin full of sweets and cookies!

Then we were off to play some Minute to Win It Games ...

Game #1 ... Red Solo Cup Stack

Rules: Stack all of the cups into a pyramid with only one hand, in a minute. If they fall, start over, you get one point for each cup stacked at the end of the minute!

This was a great game, the kids loved it!

Game #2 The Candy Cane Nutcracker

Rules: Stack as many nuts as you can with only using a candy cane, no hands! Get one point for each nut stacked at the end of the minute. **This was a hard one lol **

Game #3 Can you get an Oreo Cookie from your forehead to your mouth with NO HANDS?
**Warning: Have your camera ready if you ever do this, it was HYSTERICAL!!**

And the ONLY person who got this one ...
Drumroll ...
Jake!!

Hahahaha
He was SO proud of himself! Everyone else tried and tried and no one achieved it but him!
Go Jake! :)
This was my favorite game ... even though it was the hardest, it was the funniest to watch!

Game #4 How good is your Aim?

Rules: How many marshmallows can you throw thru a wreath in a minute? One point for each marshmallow that makes it through!

This was a good game too ... it took a while for each kid to go and then pick up the marshmallows for the next person, but they all enjoyed it and really tried!

I made a point chart for them to see who the winner was ...

It was a lot of fun!
They all really had a good time!

At the end, we let them go through the
Reindeer Food Bar ;)
I saw this on Enjoying the Small Things Blog and knew that I had to do it for our party.

ALL the supplies either came from the Dollar Store or Meijer... Including the Mason Jars.
The only thing that did not were the labels on the mason jars and those are my favorite line of supplies, The Martha Stewart Office Supplies from Staples!!

This was awesome ... I LOVED this idea!
Each child left with a jar to sprinkle on their lawn on Christmas Eve for the reindeer to munch on!

The tags were labels that I printed from HERE
We had SO SO much fun, and I think the kids enjoyed it a lot!
Their friends were so excited also!
Hopefully this will be a memory they will always remember ;)
That is what Christmas is all about to me, making memories that last a lifetime!

Any questions on the party?
Shoot me an email or comment, I am happy to help! Feel free to Pin these pics, I am going to do that hopefully this week sometime!

#SPD Thursday Link Up!

One of my latest and favorite Pinterest DIY projects ...

Linking up with two of my face bloggers today ...
Stephanie and Katie for Saw It, Pinned It, Did It :)

This is a kid SPD project ;)
Prelude to this... is that Jake is in Kindergarten and has "site words" to help him learn to read that he is supposed to be practicing ... which is not one of his favorite things to do as you can probably imagine ;)
So I thought, there has to be a fun way to help him want to learn the words ... and I decided to just search the handy dandy Pinterest ... and low and behold I found the best idea ever!

This was SO easy and he literally LOVED it!

It required buying a white posterboard, that's pretty much it!
(they have the ghost ones with little lines on them you can't see to help with the lines!)

Then I just drew the "parking spaces", ended up having exactly enough parking spaces for site words and even one extra which I wrote his last name in because for some reason it's been a tough one ;)

I cut out a Hot Wheels Logo out of the new Walmart Christmas Wish List Catalog and taped it on there for a little something extra ;)

Then we went and got all of his cars from his closet and that was it!

You call out a word and the child "drives it around the block" until he finds the word then parks it in that spot! Chris was making car sounds and Jake was dying haha we had a blast and he wanted to play all night!
After 3 rounds I was the one ready for a break, and HE wanted to keep practicing?!?
Say what??
I know... really strange, but true!

Would totally suggest this to anyone struggling with site words, it took me 10 minutes to make and he will be practicing site words 24/7 now!
Maybe he will be the best in the class ha positive thoughts! ;)

Pinterest Link Up, Best Chili Recipe & Sunday Funday!

What a weekend... and boy did I need it! I actaully got to get some things done and rest  :)
I got my nails done ...

OPI "Pink Friday"

I played with my babies while taking pics to list their momma & daddy's house this week sometime, anyone looking for a ranch in Hamburg? ha. :)

We fed the baby and observed the usual "milk coma" that he falls into as soon as he eats ha
Then we had York Peppermint Patties and got them all stuck in our teeth (well Connor did at least ha!)

This HAS TO STOP!
My Orange Leaf obsession is still reallllly bad.
Strawberry White Chocolate is the BEST flavor there is. Period.
Reese Cups and Marshmellows totally seal the deal too.
YUM.

I enjoyed a nice Saturday ...
around the house, cleaning, doing laundry, grocery, Chris built a fire, I bought the new The Knot in hopes of skimming through the 850 wedding dresses to find one that I like because I STILL have not found a dress :( Then I bought a bag of my favorite Halloween/Fall candy ... Caramel Apple Pops! Love them.

Check out my ad in the newspaper ...

Keller Williams did an awesome ad in the paper to welcome me to the company :)
I thought it turned out pretty nice!

Someone got their Halloween Costume ...
First of all, I let Chris go to Target with me today to get a few things ... BIG mistake people.
Guys are not allowed to be at Target, this should be located on the door when you walk in.
I like to take my time at Target, go in needing two things, leave with an entire buggy of stuff and have no clue what I bought ha. This does not work when your significant other is with you, let me tell you.
We had to hurry through the isles, look at DVD's for far too long, and everything I wanted to buy we didn't "need" haha :(
(which by the way means nothing to me, it all went in the buggy anyway lol)
BUT the worst part is, because he was there, present at Target, he had a say in my baby's Halloween costume this year ... POOR FRANKIE ....

Yes that is Frankie, my sweet little angel, in a SKUNK outfit. Ha. Poor thing :(

That has "My dad picked out this costume and I hate it" written all over it!

I mean he probably is the cutest skunk you have ever seen, lets be honest, but because I felt bad for him ... he also got a pumpkin cookie from The Barkery ;)

Such a little stinker!
 no pun intended ha. ;)

I made the best chili evvveerrr...
(All credit has to go to Chris's mom, this is her chili recipe and its freaking awesome. I could make 5 different chili recipes and Chris and the kids would be able to pick out "Mimi's chili" in two seconds. They absolutely love it, now I am hooked too!)

Here's What You Need:
- 1 lb ground hamburger meet
- 1 packet of Chili-O seasoning
- 2 cans of Bush's Chili Beans in Mild/Medium
- 2 cans of Kidney Beans
- 1 large can of diced tomatoes
- Spaghetti noodles
- Fritos and/or mexican shredded cheese (This is optional but makes it really good!)

What To Do:
Cook hamburger meat until it is done or browned, drain the grease, then mix 1 cup of water and the chilio packet with the meat and let is simmer until the water is all soaked up.

Mix the beans and tomatoes (do not drain!) together in a pot and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, pour in the hamburger meat and turn down to low heat and the longer you can let it sit the better, I usually try for 2 hours (per Cathi's directions ha) ... but you HAVE to stir every 10-15 minutes so the bottom doesn't burn, but if you just set your timer you'll be fine!

Once you feel like it's almost ready...
(or you're so hungry you can't wait any longer, which is usually my case)
then boil up a small pot of spaghetti noodles and put a little in your chili bowl, sprinkle with cheese and fritos if you fancy :)

Ta-Da!
It's done!

And awesome! Hope you love it!!

Lastly ... a super fun link up!
I am a couple of days late on this ... but I was so excited when I saw this new link up on Katie and Steph's blogs!! I know we allll love Pinterest, my obsession for it grows daily, ha especially planning a wedding (not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing yet?!)

I have done several things so it was really hard for me to choose one for this ... but I think my favorites so far were the little things I made for my matron of honor and then for the kids ...
I originally saw these on Pinterest ...
www.weddingprocourses.com

www.mywedding.com

I knew instantly I wanted to do this for Chrissy, my Matron of Honor, and then do the ring pops for the kids ... so I set out on a project to do them!

I dug through a ton of old pictures of Chrissy and I :) That was the fun part ha seeing what we looked like so long ago (we've been friends for 17 years, wow that sounds old ha!) ... then I found the pink paper at hobby lobby ... the white pen is AMAZING and was sent to me as a gift from this sweet lady over at in My Life I Love You More .. check out her blog if you haven't already ... she's pretty awesome ;) I also picked up a couple of the stickers from Hobby Lobby too. Oh wait, and also the white boxes for the ring pops, and the shredded paper thingys that went in the boxes :) Hobby Lobby is pretty much the best place to go if you need something crafty ha! Love it!

Here is how my Pinterest festivities turned out ... :)

 What do you think?
(I kind of think they turned out cuter than the original pins ... not to toot my own horn or anything!)

I have so many other "Pinterest Activities Come to Life" but I will save those for the next link ups!
Hop (ok I guess click is the more appropriate word ;) on over to Katie or Stephanie's blog and link up!

I love this link up! It is so much fun! :)
Great idea ladies!!

PS. Don't forget to follow me on Pinterest by clicking the link on the right sidebar :) I am pinning away from Holiday stuff to wedding stuff galoreee!!

XOXO!
