And that’s because I love it. Well, let me elaborate. I love what this property could be. The grounds and location are outstanding at the end of a little traveled road with a no neighbor feel accentuated by the over the top beautifully landscaped grounds with so many mature trees you can't even count them. House is large and the gigantic kitchen is just begging to be something amazing. Horse facilities include a really nice MD barn and sand arena which is quite separate from the main house. But the star of the property really is the land. Flat to gently rolling and landscaped in such a way that it feels like a botanic garden yet feels like a park. No big views from this site but you do get the benefit of extreme privacy. Run around in your birthday suit and nobody will even know about it yet you are minutes to all conveniences. If you are looking for a project, they don't come much better or better suited than this one. You have location, desirability, privacy and a canvas that easily lends itself to a remodel without having to completely reinvent the wheel. This neighborhood can support the bigger numbers so this is one of those locations where a major remodel won't take you to a level where you can't get your money back out. It’s a good one and now with a much better price. I'm going to keep showing this one until somebody shares my vision. We were able to capture this oversized solid home for $550,000. We are talking one of the largest homes in Creekside at over 2700 square feet. Kitchen remodeled, good roof and a floor plan that will lend itself well to additional updates over time. The master has a the bedroom with a walk in closet and then an additional attached huge sitting room with fireplace and another walk in closet. This is just an example of how unique and well designed this home is. There are all kinds of houses in Creekside but I was immediately impressed with how well this home was built and cared for over time. This was a super value property going to clients who I know will live many happy years together in it. Sometimes people are in the right place at the right time. That definitely happened this time.

2948 Alta, Los Olivos (3/3 on .75 of an acre) 965K Well, it certainly is one of the most stylish properties I have seen in Los Olivos. The photos are really pretty accurate but the house itself is actually even better. Big great room with super high ceilings off the well designed generous kitchen. Master on one side has high ceilings and some drama. This home feels much bigger than 2500 square feet. I was very much looking forward to seeing the back yard and listening for any traffic impacts. To be honest, I was looking for noise but it frankly was simply not there. You saw on the aerial how close this home is to the highway but due to the extremely large lot, all of which is out behind the house and good use of trees, there was almost no traffic sound at all. I was predispositioned to have a beef with that but I was wrong. In fact, the backyard is quite nice with good landscaping and a whole section beyond the tree line that isn't even being used and it's still generous. Definitely room for a pool, bocce, your furry friends or a killer garden. I was impressed with the curb appeal and the special qualities of this home just kept on coming. So, if you are shopping in LO and have been disappointed with the quality or square footage in other properties, you should definitely see this one. A unique offering literally a 2 minute walk up the hill from the flag pole. You could wait for a break in your morning TV show, shuffle down to the coffee shop in your jammies and still make it back before the commercials are over. It’s a good one.
