8/6 Inventory Update

Price Reductions


952 Alamo Pintado, Solvang (4/2 on 5 acres) Was $1,350,000 with a new price of $1,275,000. This property started at $1,400,000.  So in a short amount of time, 40 days, this property has come down $125,000 which is no small amount. Keeping in mind while this home has a Alamo Pintado address, it is very far off the beaten path on a private road meandering through ranchettes until you reach the site. Very far away from the traffic and exposure of Alamo Pintado proper. With this new price, I'm starting to like the potential here. Lots of usable land, single level home lends itself well to a variety of personal touches. City water …. not sure if that means Solvang or SYV.


1875 - 1883 Laurel, Solvang (3 lots approx. 1/3 acre each) Listed at 239K and sold final for 225K. A long and complicated saga for these 3 view lots. Split off from a larger piece some years back, unfortunately they ended up being bank owned in the end (as the narrative indicates). But the tides have turned and a new owner is involved. It will be fun to see how these lots evolve. Unique and private location with sloping topography. You certainly can't beat the price per lot.
